PSALMS OF ASCENT

Psalms of Ascent is the third full length album by Heights Collective and it features twelve new songs written in our community over this past year. The album title comes from the songs that God’s people would sing on their way up to Jerusalem and is captured in Psalm 120-134.
The live tracks on the album were recorded at Christian Student fellowship at the University of Kentucky and every track features worship leaders from the CSF community.

God has been moving in an incredible way at CSF and this album really captures what He is doing at the University of Kentucky. We hope you enjoy listening to a project that has been held so dear to all of us.

Hide In You

Live at CSF

Hide In You Live at CSF is the second full length album by Heights Collective featuring twelve brand new songs written to help us connect closer to God.  The title track "Hide In You" reminds us that even through trials we can "be strong, take heart, and wait for the Lord."

This release was recorded live at Christian Student Fellowship at the University of Kentucky and features local artists from that campus.  Matt Zolla joins Heights Collective for the first time singing "Can You Feel It," inspired by the Christians in Acts 4 who received for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  The song "Hemmed In" features Lydia Slayden, and "What Kind of King" is a song written and sung by Dylan Matthews.

This album captures the heart of what God is doing on our college campuses and invites us to join in the song that is being sung.  Hide In You Live at CSF is available in stores on March 13th, 2018.

Declare His Glory

Filled with Scripture, Declare His Glory comes from the hearts of people who want to be where God is and want to sing His praises.  Recorded in studio and on the University of Kentucky’s campus, each song features lyrics born from seasons of trial and joy.

From words of determination in “Captivated”, to a request for deeper surrender in “Brighter”, Declare His Glory calls the listener to a more simple form of worship - one dependent on the Holy Spirit and a personal relationship with Him. This debut album holds seven original tracks along with three acoustic versions.

Can You FEel It

Can You Feel It was written from a desire for more of God in our lives.  It was written after reflecting on Acts 4 and where God filled the early church again with His Spirit.  After Pentecost they experienced a time of trial including Peter and John being imprisoned for healing a man in Jesus' name.  Once they were released they went back to the other believers and prayed with one voice.  The result was an even greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  Can You Feel It is our prayer that we will see the same work from the Holy Spirit in our lives.

Hemmed In

"You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb."  -Psalm 139:15 NLT

Filled with the Holy Spirit, David was getting a glimpse of what Jesus would later explain as spiritual birth (John 3). There are seasons in life where God seems to have us so surrounded that we can't forge on ahead or turn back. Our only option is to wait in the palm of His hand as He forms us into the likeness of His Son.  May we always sing for joy at His incredible care!
